Pet Policies & Assistance Animals

Dog Restrictions - Pet Rent is $50/mo

  • Must be 26 lbs or less.
  • Only allowed on 1st or 2nd floors
  • Must have city license, up to date on vaccines, & neutered/spayed.
  • Frontline or other flea protection must be used.
  • Must be crated when not home.
  • Must be potty trained without the use of pee pads (these are prohibited).
  • Can not have cats with dogs. 
  • Handler must pick up droppings each potty break.

Cat Restrictions - Pet rent is $20/mo 1 cat or $50/mo 2 cats

  • Must be spayed/neutered.
  • All vaccines up to date & city licensed.
  • Only 2 cats per unit allowed.
  • A separate litter box for each cat is required.
  • Frontline or other flea treatment required. 
  • Litter must be taken to the dumpster in a sealed and/or tied up bag.
  • Must be declawed in front paws OR have a good scratch post for them to use.
  • Handler responsible for crating during maintenance. 
  • Cats allowed on any floor unit.

Non-Refundable Pet Fees

There is a one-time $250.00 non refundable pet fee collected at the time you declare the pet.

Prohibited Animals

  • Pit Bulls are not permitted.
  • Snakes of any kind.
  • Rodents of any kind.
  • Rabbits are not allowed.
  • Ferrets may not be present in any unit.
  • Bee Hives are simply unreasonable pets for an apartment.
  • No chickens or bantams, turkeys, pheasants, quail, etc.
  • Free flying parakeets or birds. Absolutley no falcons. 
  • This list is not conclusive and the manager may deem any pet prohibited based on type, size, behavior, disposition, smells, lack of control or potty training, etc. 

Assistance Animals

  • Handler is resposnible for the control of each assistance animal.
  • Each assistance animal must be qualified by the manager to be excused from pet fees & pet rent.
  • Assistance Animals are considered working animals, thus they are limited to such animals that can reasonably perform work. A pet is NOT considered a working animal.
  • Assistance Animals must be reasonably trained (even if you self-train) & must be potty trained. No assistance animal that is a nussiance or unruly will be allowed & by Federal Law the manager may expel such animals for lack of potty training or unruly behavior.
